  • Please quote your account number when placing an order.
  • Please quote model numbers and any other specification required when ordering.
  • Orders placed by telephone then faxed should be clearly marked with 'CONFIRMATION ORDER' to avoid the risk of duplication.

All items subject to availability, an equivalent alternative may be sent in its place. Unwanted alternatives are subject to our returns policy. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Response to orders

We are proud of our service to our customers and maintain large stocks of products to expedite delivery. Orders for stock items are usually processed and dispatched the same day.

Method of despatch

Your order will be despatched by the most economical means available, with regard to weight / volume and the degree of urgency.

Options are:

  • Next working day before 9.00 a.m.*
  • Next working day before 10.00 a.m.*
  • Next working day before 12.00 noon*
  • Next working day (unspecified time)*
  • 2 - 3 working days

Special custom products

Össur UK Ltd. through our own manufacturing facility, and those of our major suppliers, have the expertise and resources to meet your requirements for one-off custom designs and adaptations of existing products. This website illustrates our standard items, so if you can't find what you require, please call us to discuss how we may help you.

Incorrect delivery

On receipt of the goods the customer is requested to check the consignment. In the unlikely event that the type or quantity of goods is incorrect then you are required to notify our Customer Care Department within seven working days of the date of delivery. After seven working days Össur UK Ltd. cannot accept responsibility for an alleged incorrect delivery.

Return of goods policy

Authorisation must be issued by Össur UK Ltd. prior to goods being returned, please contact Customer Care for a return reference number and ensure sections 1-5 of Return Advice Note (on back of despatch note) are fully completed. Soiled, custom manufactured, modified or obsolete goods, or goods delivered more than 365 days previously may not be returned. Goods accepted for return must be in resalable conditions, guaranteed infection free and in the original packaging Össur UK Ltd. reserves the right to charge delivery costs and / or a re-stocking fee of 20% on returned goods.

Single patient use

It is a Condition of Sale that any orthopaedic product purchased from Össur UK Ltd. is restricted to 'Single Use Only' by the originally-fitted patient in order to protect the care provider and the patient against potentially adverse consequences of infectious disease transmission or material instability resulting from previous use by the original wearer. Any expressed or implied warranties are voided if the orthosis is re-used for another patient.

Any orthosis purchased from Össur UK Ltd. must be prescribed and applied by a qualified clinician to ensure that it meets the needs of the particular patient and accomplishes the desired results.
