Introducing Flyease from Nike

Our Team Ӧssur Athlete Sarah Reinertsen has been extremely busy over the last year. Not only has she been smashing records (beating her previous Ironman World Record by 24 minutes in Kona) but she has also been working full time at Nike in Oregon.

One of the projects which Sarah has been involved in is the new FlyEase technology, a concept which has been around in the US for the last few years and arrived in London earlier this month and something we feel is worth shouting about.

“Designed for all athletes, Nike FlyEase features a revolutionary zipper-and-strap system to help you get your shoes on and off quickly and easily.”

Head over to Nike for more information and to see how these products work.

Nike London

We worked with Sarah and Ben Clark at Eastside Prosthetics in the US to help create 3 adaptive mannequins (one upper extremity, one lower extremity and one paediatric) which are being showcased in the Nike London store as part of their FlyEase displays.

The display will only be available for the next few weeks so get down whilst you can. If you can’t make it you an still check out the range and buy them online.

Jersey Shop

As if FlyEase isn’t cool enough, adaptive athletes can visit the "Jersey Shop" at the Nike London store to have their trousers or jerseys altered to fit their unique needs.

We think this is awesome. Well done Nike for a great concept!
