Serena Stubbs MBAPO
Orthotist/Prosthetist
Serena qualified as a Prosthetist/Orthotist in 1997 from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. A member of the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO), Serena is registered with the UK Health Professions Council (HPC).
Employed previously within major teaching hospitals across the UK and in Australia, Serena has over 10 years clinical experience in both orthotic and prosthetic provision. Her areas of speciality have included orthopaedics, neurological orthotics and lower and upper limb prosthetics, both for adult and paediatric patients.
Serena remains settled in the UK, where she has worked in hospital teams in the South East. She also spent five years working at Kings College Hospital, London, gaining valuable experience in the use of specialised scanning systems.
As the lead clinician with Technology in Motion from Össur in Wimbledon, Serena is part of the team specialising in cranial remoulding, an area of work she finds both stimulating and enjoyable. She also provides orthotic treatment for other conditions including knee and foot and ankle pathologies.
Serena is a member of the Wimbledon Clinic team.
