Icelock Expulsion Valve 551 and 552

Lightweight easy to clean expulsion valves

Both Icelock® Expulsion Valve 551 and 552, are designed to be used with all vacuum suspension systems. The valves are positioned in a housing that seals securely against the inner surface of the hard socket near the distal end. The valves expel air under positive pressure when entering a socket. During removal of the prosthesis the valve needs to be triggered to allow air back into the hard socket.

New improved Icelock Expulsion Valve 551

The new and improved Icelock Valve 551 is safe and secure. The new screw-on cap and added socket insert make the valve easier to use.  The screw-on cap is easy to remove, making cleaning of the valve a simple task. The valve now also comes with a socket insert which makes it easy to use with flexible inner sockets. The socket insert can also be laminated into the Össur Modular Socket System, creating additional threads to screw in the valve.
