Clinics
There are currently three Technology in Motion clinics nationwide, Cardiff, Leeds and London and a 'satellite' clinic in Glasgow. We also have a new Belfast Clinic.Clinics
All clients are assessed individually and advised of the optimum product for their injury or condition. All clinics carry an extensive inventory of stock products, enabling a ‘one stop’ service for the client’s convenience. Should a client’s condition necessitate a custom made device, these are manufactured to order to the highest standard.
In addition to bracing & supports a significant aspect of the services provided in the clinics is ‘Biomechanical Foot Assessment’. This is the assessment of any biomechanical dysfunction, which can affect the foot and the lower kinetic chain, influencing movements further up the leg including the knee, hip, pelvis and lower spine.
Each clinic has a dedicated ‘gait assessment’ facility, which includes the Footscan pressure analysis system, together with high speed video equipment to record force, pressure acceleration and gait thus enabling the clinician to determine the biomechanical dysfunction and the orthotic solution.
Clinicians
The clinics are serviced by state registered qualified Orthotists. Technology in Motion Orthotists are members of BAPO (British Association of Prosthetists & Orthotists) who are aligned to the HPC (Health Professions Council).
