Giles Leeming MBAPO
Prosthetist/OrthotistGiles graduated as a Podiatrist (BSc (Hons) Podiatry) from the University of Huddersfield (2001). Keen to progress his Orthotic knowledge he then went to Salford University to study BSc (Hons) Prosthetics and Orthotics (2005). During his time at Salford he also worked extensively as a Locum Podiatrist in Luton, Oxford, Blackpool, and Cheshire. He is registered with the UK Health Professions Council (HPC) (Podiatrist/ Prosthetist/ Orthotist) and is also a member of the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists.
He completed his placements at QMC Nottingham (Orthotics) and Exeter (Prosthetics) before starting work as an Orthotist in Sheffield’s Mobility and Specialised Rehabilitation Centre (M&SRC). His clinical caseload was a wide mix of Orthopaedic, Neuro, Rheumatology, and Diabetic patients. He also provided orthotic service to the specialist diabetic foot clinic at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
Giles joined Össur in late 2008 and has been involved in clinical and technical support for bracing and support customers as well as clinics at the Wimbledon clinic.
