Newport™ Shoulder Orthosis

Utilising the unique Newport™ 3 hip orthosis pelvic component to allow for full pelvic weight bearing. Unequalled shoulder joint controls adduction / abduction, flexion / extension and rotation of the shoulder and arm.

Indications for Use

• Post-surgery
• Post-trauma requiring versatile, stable positioning of the upper limb
• Frozen shoulder syndrome
• Management of burns

• Free or fixed flexion / extension of the shoulder joint (110° arc)
• Adjustable or fixed range of adduction / abduction (90° arc)
• Adjustable internal / external rotation at the elbow without affecting the shoulder joint

• Pelvic weight-bearing design eliminates the need for shoulder suspension straps which are often uncomfortable
• Significant proportion of load transferred to non-affected side
• Unique pivot design pelvic component allows a close fit for male and female patients by adjusting for differing hip development
• Pelvic component lined with plush neoprene
