DH Hex

The DH Active Offoading insole is an alternative and cost effective solution for the treatment of plantar ulceration.

Available as a walker or a shoe, the DH system reduces localised pressure as well as absorbing shear forces.

The Active Offloading insole consists of hundreds of independent removable hexagonal suspension cells (ActivHex) which can be removed for selective offloading.

ActivHex cells combine soft density Urethane, medium and firm density ‘Poron’ to provide a soft interface with the skin while providing optimum support and conformity.

• No substantial difference between a total contact cast and DH Active off-loading Walker
• 94% pressure relief with removal of ActivHex cells
• 28% – 33% decrease in peak pressures without ActivHex removal
• Insoles provide 54% – 60% more ambulating surface area
