The Occian Back is designed exclusively for the specialised needs of the multi-system trauma patient in the ICU. Universally sized, specifically engineered and designed with advanced, Intuitech™ pressure-relieving memory foam, the Occian Back help caregivers manage c-spine patients who are at high risk of occipital breakdown.
Indications for Use
- Patients not awake and alert within 24 - 48 hours after admission
- Patients with preexisting skin injuries and/or lacerations to the head/neck
- Burn patients
- Elective surgery patients desiring night time post-operative comfort
