Össur is proud to present this unique resource for rograractitioners who want to enhance their education, but are too busy or too far away to attend one of our many Academy seminars. Featuring high quality video and audio demonstrations, the courses below are free of charge and easy to follow.
Although these qualifications are primarily for North American practitioners, anyone can access this valuable resource from anywhere in the world.
Overview of courses currently available:
Interactive Unloader® One training
The Unloader One Competency Program (opens in a new window) is an online training intended to enhance the successful clinical outcomes for the practitioner. This program offers key information and direction on the proper technique in measurement for and fitting of the Unloader One osteoarthritis knee orthosis. A competency examination is offered and a personalized certificate is provided upon successful completion of the course. Two continuing education credits have been approved by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
Help for Patients too
The interactive Unloader One training program also includes a convenient downloadable guide for the clinician to offer the patient, aiding them in proper reapplication of the orthosis.
